Decades ago, on McAlear Street in
Côte Saint-Luc, as I was learning to ride a bike (note the training wheels) and shoot a basketball (which doubled as a chair in this photo). Back then the Expos were still alive, and I wore their cap with pride. Yes, the butterscotch coloured Plymouth Volaré with chocolate brown vinyl top in the background was my moms ride.

I learned how to ride a bike, hold a baseball bat, compose the alphabet, and a lot more, all while living in and around Cote Saint-Luc. I’ve never left.

When clients ask about a particular home, street, or neighborhood, they’re often surprised when I can tell them who has lived there the past decades, and how exactly it’s evolved!

My own family now calls the west-end home too. I continue to eat, play, exercise, shop and build community ties here. You are likely to see me at the local bakery, dry cleaners, or at the Cavendish Mall (now known as Quartier Cavendish).

Especially with this in mind, it’s important to me that I handle the buying and selling of homes with the type of care you’d expect from a neighbor or friend.

That’s why I see my work as more than brokering real estate transactions alone.

I believe in earning people’s trust by helping them focus on the right fit, instead of a quick fit.

I’m proud to call myself a real estate broker, and equally proud to call Montreal’s west-end home.
